These reports are often referred to as the gold standard for information concerning the issues before Congress.<\/p>\n<p>We have obtained the Library of Congress\u2019s implementation plan to make CRS reports available to the public, as required by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/medium.com\/r\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdemandprogress.org%2Fcongressional-research-service-crs-reports-become-publicly-available%2F\">2018 Omnibus Appropriations Law<\/a>. Unfortunately, it does not comport with the law or best practices for creating websites and is unusually expensive&#8230;.
