Last month, they led an unsuccessful charge against the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/118th-congress\/house-bill\/2872\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0continuing resolution<\/a>\u00a0that was enacted to keep the government open through early March. To be sure, they were not alone. A total of<a href=\"https:\/\/clerk.house.gov\/Votes\/202415\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00a0106 Republicans<\/a>\u00a0voted against the bill, although many did so because they knew the bill would pass \u2014 which freed them to please their base voters by saying, \u201cNay.\u201d But this was a House Freedom Caucus fight through and through&#8230;.
